Cookie Policy

General Information

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, how and why they are used on the website you are visiting. This document aims to provide you with complete information about the scope of data processing by cookies and the options for managing their settings.

In this Policy, you will learn:

  • What cookies are
  • What types there are and what they are used for
  • How we use them
  • How you can manage or disable them

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files sent to your browser by the website you visit. They contain data regarding user activity and help improve the user experience – they remember preferences, facilitate logging in, enable shopping carts to function, remember form contents, etc.

Cookies are not computer programs, do not contain viruses, do not have access to user data stored on the device’s hard drive, and do not take control over it. However, due to the possibility of using them to track user activity, they require the user’s informed consent – especially in the context of GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive.

Where are cookies stored?

Cookies are stored on the user’s device – computer, tablet, smartphone, or any other device used to browse the website. They are saved in the browser’s memory, which allows them to be read during subsequent visits to the site.

Privacy and Security

Although cookies themselves are harmless, they can be used to create user profiles and track their online activity – especially by external advertising and analytics systems. Therefore, transparency and the possibility for the user to choose the extent of their consent are required.

To maintain security, we recommend:

  • Not saving passwords on public or shared devices
  • Regularly clearing the browser cache and history
  • Using private or incognito mode when necessary

Types of cookies

On our website, we use three main categories of cookies:

a) Session cookies (temporary)
These are deleted after closing the browser. They are used to manage the user session, enabling, for example, maintaining login status or managing the shopping cart.

b) Functional/personalization cookies
They save user preferences (language, site appearance, interface settings) and are used during subsequent visits to tailor the website to individual needs.

c) Tracking/analytics cookies
They collect data about user behavior – e.g., time spent on the site, number of visits, traffic sources. This data helps us improve the website’s operation and tailor content. For this purpose, we use, among others, Google Analytics.

Some of these cookies may also be used for advertising purposes – in particular, to present personalized advertising content.

What is the purpose of using cookies?

On our website, cookies are used for purposes such as:

  • Improving navigation and page loading
  • Recognizing returning users and personalizing content (e.g., displaying banners only to new users)
  • Remembering user preferences (language, page layout)
  • Supporting login systems, shopping carts, and online payments
  • Conducting statistical analyses and measuring content effectiveness
  • Increasing security (e.g., detecting abuse)
  • Supporting affiliate and partnership programs (e.g., tracking referrals)
  • Managing ads and measuring their effectiveness
  • Conducting A/B testing of different site versions
  • Monitoring technical errors and improving site performance

External cookies and integrations

Our website may include elements from third-party companies, which also use their own cookies, such as:

  • Google (Analytics, Ads, Maps, YouTube) – privacy policy: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/
  • Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter) – e.g., „Like” buttons, embedded posts, social tools
  • Payment systems, newsletters, comment tools – these may also use cookies as part of their services

Each of these services has its own privacy and cookie policy, which you should review.

How to manage cookies?

The user has full control over cookies and can disable, delete, or restrict their use at any time through browser settings.

Depending on your browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, Opera), you can:

  • block all cookies
  • delete existing cookies
  • allow cookies only from selected sites
  • set notifications about attempts to save cookies

Detailed instructions can be found in your browser’s documentation or at: https://www.cookies.edu.pl/

Note: Limiting the use of cookies may affect the functioning of the website and some of its services.

Changing or withdrawing consent

If you have not changed your browser settings, it means you accept the use of cookies on our website. However, you can change your mind at any time by modifying your browser settings or deleting saved cookies.

Cookie Policy

We reserve the right to change this Cookie Policy at any time. The new version will be published on this same subpage of the website. We encourage you to review it periodically.
